David M. Howell

A writer for over 30 years, David has developed a reputation for storytelling. From short stories and novels to movie and TV screenplays. He has a special knack for bringing history to life.

This is most evident in No Quarter, a series of novels that follow a group of unwilling immigrants who find themselves in the backwoods of colonial America fighting for their lives. The series brings the French & Indian War into view as an epic struggle of empires and the pawns that play in a ruthless game of win or die.

The No Quarter TV pilot, Assassins received rave reviews at Sundance.

The screenplay Room To Play, a comedy about Ann Dinardi, who, as a single woman in the 1950’s, opened her home to troubled college boys — and in the process helped become an NBA legend herself. The screenplay is currently with a production company.

His passion has always been storytelling. He has honed his writing skills on hundreds of TV commercials for McDonald’s, Bud Light, Sears and many others.
